What is an RSVP purchase?
An RSVP purchase is the purchase of a leads package.  The dollar amount of the order ($25, $50, $100, or $200) goes into a straight-line matrix where it will eventually cycle several times and has the potential to eventually pay out $2,000 over time.  This income is in addition to the leads and is not guaranteed; however, between May, 2004 and November, 2006, Empowerism members earned $10,054,735.00 from the RSVP matrix. <top>

Is this an investment?
Absolutely, unequivocally not!  RSVP is not in any way, shape, or form to be considered any kind of investment. Advertising or publicly describing RSVP as an investment is grounds for immediate cancellation of membership.  RSVP is simply the purchasing of a leads package and maintaining eligibility to earn commissions from future RSVP sales. Maintenance and commissions are optional.  Anyone may purchase leads and choose not to participate in the matrix. <top>

Am I buying a position? What am I buying?
RSVP is the sale of leads. It is not the sale of a "position"; it is not the sale of a "position in the matrix"; it is not "purchasing commissions."  When you buy an RSVP package, you are ordering leads.  Period.  The compensation is optional and is dependent upon your choice of future participation. <top>

Who is eligible to buy RSVP leads?
All Empowerism Subscribers are eligible to purchase RSVP leads. However, receiving commissions from the optional compensation plan requires a monthly purchase commitment and renewal of your Empowerism subscription every month.  <top>

Can Basic Members buy RSVP leads?
You may buy RSVP leads packages, but you will need to upgrade to Subscriber and remain a paid Subscriber (and meet any monthly purchase requirements) if you want to participate in the optional RSVP compensation plan.  <top>

What are the requirements to keep my RSVP orders in the matrix?
There are only two requirements: (1) Your subscription must be in Paid status before we run month end at midnight Eastern time on the last day of each month; and (2) You must meet a monthly leads purchase requirement of 1% of your RSVP matrix orders total. Note that this purchase is completely separate from your Empowerism subscription renewal. <top>

I want to cancel my subscription and still receive RSVP commissions. Is that possible?
No.  The optional RSVP compensation plan is open ONLY to paid Empowerism subscribers who are also meeting their required monthly purchases. If I cancel my Empowerism subscription can I withdraw my RSVP commissions from the matrix?

Is my subscription fee or renewal fee the same thing as buying RSVP Leads?
No.  Your $24.95 subscription fee and the $19.95 renewals have absolutely nothing to do with any RSVP leads purchases.  Please be clear about that.  You get no orders in the RSVP matrix from the $24.95 and the $19.95.  Those are your subscription fees. However, being a paid Subscriber allows you to buy RSVP leads and, along with the monthly requirement, qualifies you to participate in the optional compensation plan.

How can I get a FREE RSVP?

We want to say VERY CLEARLY that you should NEVER spend more on leads than you can comfortably afford. Do not max out your credit cards or spend money that you need to live on. You are buying leads for marketing purposes, not a position and not commissions.  Spend only what your marketing budget can afford. <top>

I bought four $50 RSVP Leads Packages last month. Can I combine the orders to make one $200 package?
Yes!  Login to your member center, locate the RSVP menu item on the left, and choose View/Edit Orders.  Near the top of that page, follow the directions to "Club Orders."  You can combine orders purchased in the same calendar month, up to $200 maximum order total.  The date of the resulting combined order will be the date the first clubbed order was placed.  Please note that this transaction cannot be reversed, so pay close attention to what you're doing!  <top>

I bought a $100 RSVP Leads Package and I want to upgrade it. Can I do that?
Yes! Login to your member center, locate the RSVP menu item on the left, and choose View/Edit Orders.  Click the Upgrade link on the order you want to upgrade.  Choose your payment method and the amount you want to upgrade to. Payment methods are: credit card, Moneybookers, E-gold, and existing Empowerism commissions.   <top>

What is the Designation column on the View/Edit Orders page?
Some members have earmarked the future commissions of their RSVP orders for specific purposes, such as a child's college education, a new car, or retirement.  The designation is simply a way to denote that for your own purposes. Click the Edit button for the order you want to insert a designation.  That's the button that looks like a pencil writing on a piece of paper.  <top>

I bought a leads package yesterday, when can I expect to receive my leads?
In most cases, your leads are instantly available for downloading.  Simply click on the Leads Download menu item on the left and you will see that your download total has increased after your purchase.  The only time this does not happen is when we are awaiting a fresh batch of leads, so when you click the Leads Not Downloaded link, you will get a message that they aren't currently available.  In that case you should check back in a day or two. <top>

I bought a leads package but I can't find it on the Matrix View page!
If you have waited six hours and searched the Matrix View page (http://www.empowerism.com/matrixview.cfm) and cannot find your order after searching (Ctrl-F) for your Empowerism ID, please use the Empowerism Support menu item in your member center, create a support ticket, and tell us the pay method you used, the date and amount of the order, and your choice of Income Option.  Inquiries received without this information will be further delayed. <top>

Are we receiving more leads each time we cycle?
No. The leads part of the transaction was completed upon purchase. <top>

Questions about the New Requirements :


What are the new requirements that I must meet to keep my RSVP orders in the matrix?
New requirements were announced at the beginning of November, 2006, in response to suggestions made by Empowerism members on how to get the matrix moving faster.  The requirements are two-fold:

(1) Starting November, 2006, any Empowerism member who owns an RSVP or MVP must be a paid subscriber by the close of the month (midnight Eastern Time on the last day of the month). At that time, all orders belonging to unpaid subscribers will be deleted from the RSVP & MVP matrices. Once deleted, the orders cannot be reinstated.

This means you must take an active role in making sure your subscription is paid. When credit card renewals are run at the beginning of the month, about 10% are declined. When that happens, the subscription is marked as unpaid and a note is posted in the Member Center that must be clicked on when the member logs in before he/she can click on another link.

Also, many of you are relying on auto-deduct from commissions for your renewals, but sometimes your commissions are less than $19.95 and auto-deduct cannot take place. If your account is not set up with auto-renewal as a back-up plan, then your subscription is marked unpaid.

If you want to keep your RSVP and MVP orders, you must commit to logging in at least once a month to make sure you are in paid status. Email reminders will be sent four times a month, but we are not responsible for missed renewals, as we cannot guarantee that you will receive or read your email. Ideally, you should mark your calendar to login, for example, on the fourth Saturday of each month.

(2) Starting December, 2006, a leads purchase equivalent to one percent (1%) of your total RSVP order value must be made before the end of the month. (The order value is NOT the "Commission Due" column!) You can make the purchase based on any or all of your orders in any given month, so if you want to let go of some of your orders, then just make the purchase based on the ones you want to keep. The remaining orders will be deleted at the end of the month.

For example, let’s say that you have ten $400/$800 RSVP orders. That means you have an RSVP order value of $4000 (10 x $400). If you want to keep all of those RSVP orders, then your required monthly leads purchase is $4000 x 1%, or $40. But if you only want to keep five of those orders, your required monthly leads purchase is $20.

The exceptions are: (a) anyone with less than $200 in RSVP orders is not required to participate until those orders cycle and increase to a total of $200 or more; and (b) the free RSVPs from the purchase of an MVP order during the current special are excluded from the calculations. You supported MVP when it wasn’t easy, so your free RSVPs remain free. That special (buy an MVP ad package and get a free RSVP leads package of equal value) runs through December 31, so I encourage you to take advantage of that – it’s a GREAT deal!

This tiny required purchase is a fraction of the eventual payout of your RSVP orders. Even if it took ten years to get paid the $2000 per order of all ten of your $400 orders, these monthly required leads purchases would cost you just $4800 over ten years for that $20,000 payout, a difference of $15,200! (And if you’re not sure we’ll be here in ten years – think again – our nine-year anniversary is February 27, 2007!) <top>

Are these new requirements guaranteed to work? Will the matrix cycle time decrease?
Although there are never any guarantees or quick fixes, these requirements will definitely funnel a lot more revenue into the RSVP matrix without clogging it with an equal number of orders.  This means more orders cycled per day and faster payouts.

If you are watching the matrix, you know that once the September and part of the October orders cycle, there are very few days with more than 100 orders to cycle.  To draw a comparison, the average number of orders for the months of July & August, 2004 was about 450 per day.  Some days were as high as 700.  The July & August, 2004 orders were slowly cycled over the last two years, so we've gone through the worst of it.

Also, you will notice that as the dates increase the average order amount starts to get progressively smaller. Obviously, it takes eight times as much incoming revenue to cycle a $200 order than a $25 order, so many of these days will cycle relatively quickly.  Once we start cycling March, 2005 orders and beyond, the cycle time should start to decrease. <top>

What am I getting for the required monthly purchase?
You receive leads at $0.50 per lead.  However, starting in December, 2006 and until further notice, 10% of each of your monthly required purchases is accrued in your account as credits.  One credit = one RSVP dollar. If I forget to renew my subscription, what happens to my RSVP orders?
According to the requirements, effective November, 2006, your Empowerism subscription must be in Paid status as of midnight Eastern time on the last day of the month.  You have the entire month to make your $19.95 renewal.  If your subscription is not in Paid status at that time, your RSVP orders will automatically be removed from the RSVP matrix.  This is non-negotiable and irreversible unless we determine that a mistake was made on our part.  RSVP has always been a benefit for Subscribers and we are now enforcing the Paid status requirement. <top>

If I forget to make my monthly required purchase, what happens to my RSVP orders?
According to the requirements, effective December, 2006, sometime before midnight Eastern time on the last day of each month, you must have made a required leads purchase equal to 1% of all of the RSVP orders you wish to keep in the RSVP matrix.  You have the entire month to make this purchase, and you have the option to break it down into smaller purchases throughout the month.  All RSVP orders on which this 1% required monthly purchase has not been made will be deleted from the RSVP matrix.  This is non-negotiable and irreversible unless we determine that a mistake was made on our part.  <top>

Will you remind me to renew my subscription?
Yes!  If your subscription is unpaid, several times throughout the month we will email you renewal reminders.  It is your responsibility to make sure your email address is updated in your member center and that you are receiving our emails.  If you use a filtering service that requires an action from the sender to get an email through to you, you will need to set it to allow all email from empowerism.com, as our software sends these reminders automatically and cannot click on confirmation links to send your mail through. <top>

Will you remind me to make my monthly purchase?
Yes!  Although this may not be in place by the end of December, you will receive notices throughout the month reminding you to make your required monthly leads purchase on any RSVP orders you want to keep in the matrix.  If you have already made your purchase based on the ones you want to keep, simply ignore the reminders, as you will get them even if you have left one order out of the calculation of your 1%. <top>

What payment methods do you accept?
Your monthly subscription renewal ($19.95) can be made by credit card, eCheck (US only & before the 20th of the month), E-gold, Moneybookers, existing Empowerism commissions, or by another Empowerism member (Renew-A-Friend).

Your monthly required leads purchase of 1% of the RSVP orders you want to keep in the matrix can be made by E-gold, Moneybookers, existing Empowerism commissions, or by another Empowerism member (as of January, 2007).  We may add credit card to this list in January.

If you are using Moneybookers or Empowerism commissions, you can set your purchases to automatically renew each month for the same amount.  However, if your payment fails (or if you don't have enough in your commission balance to cover it), the purchase will fail.  If that happens, you would receive emailed reminders until your order is successfully placed.  <top>

What kind of leads are these?
The leads are opt-in leads and are people who have agreed to receive information pertaining to Internet business.  The leads come with contact information, date/time stamp, and the IP address that was captured when they gave permission. <top>

If I mail to these leads and don't get any response, what should I do?
The first thing you should do is re-assess what you sent to your leads.  Was it an advertisement?  If so, was it well-written, eye-catching, and interesting?  Sending an ad as your first contact with these leads is usually not the best way to approach them.  How often do you respond to the email offers that flood your email box?

Start by offering them the Google course found inside your Training Center.  Describe the course, maybe give a tidbit or two, stress that it's f~r~e~e, and give them a link to your auto-responder where they can start receiving the emails.  <top>

How and when will I receive my commissions due?
Your commissions will be deposited into your Empowerism commission balance after you cycle a $200/$400 order at Recurring=$200 or a $400/$400 order at Recurring=$400 (or the remaining one-time payment orders). That means when your order of $200 cycles at Recurring = $200, you will have $200 deposited into your accrued commission balance, which you can request at any time. Commissions then are paid every Wednesday for requests made the previous Sunday through Saturday.  <top>

My $200 order cycled and I didn't receive commissions. My income option was Recurring Income = $400. What happened?
When your income option is Recurring Income = $400, you will receive $400 in your commission balance when your $400 order cycles. When your income option is Recurring Income = $200, you will receive $200 in your commission balance when your $200 order cycles.<top>

Will I receive commissions on RSVP orders purchased by subscribers that I sponsor into Empowerism?
You do not earn direct commissions on RSVP leads purchases.

If we paid commissions on each RSVP order, it would slow down the cycle time substantially because it would take that much more incoming funds to cycle each order. <top>

I purchased RSVP leads for $200, how do I get notified when it is doubled?
You will receive a notice when your order has cycled AND when commissions are deposited into your Empowerism Commission Balance. <top>

How long will it take my orders to cycle?
There is no way to make a prediction of cycle time for incoming orders. This is Revenue Sharing where the revenues depend on sales, like any other company. Your strategy should be to get the word out to as many people as you know who are interested in long-term financial growth.
